Valeria Yakymenko, raised in Ukraine, studied fine arts at the Odessa State Academy — Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Arts, both with distinction.
After several years as a designer for David Roytman Luxury Judaica, she has been living and working in Hamburg since 2021.
